Have you ever wanted to watch YouTube videos on your PSP? Well now you can. I was googling for online FLV converters when I found Vixy. Vixy is a free online service for conversion of your videos to conventional formats like AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MP3 for your PC, iPod, mobile phone or PSP.

So how do we do that? Just copy and paste the URL of your favorite YouTube video into the textbox and choose a destination format. After the video is converted, it will automatically download into your computer. Save the file and copy it into your PSP and enjoy!

If you didn’t already know, MP4 is the playable video format for the iPod and PSP. For months I’ve been using Winnydows XviD4PSP video converter to convert AVI and MPEG files into MP4. The good thing about XviD4PSP is that it can convert any video file and best of all, it’s free. The one thing I don’t like about XviD4PSP is its very slow process of conversion. For example if you convert a 45 minute length AVI movie into MP4, the who whole process would take almost 2 hours to complete. Now that’s really a long process but positive thing about it is that the quality of the output video is the same with the original. (more…)
