Sony Releases PSP Firmware Update 3.93

Sony has just released the 3.93 firmware update for the Playstation Portable via Network update today. So if you guys are thinking of upgrading, think again. There isn’t any feature exciting about this firmware except support for new Playstation titles. I have been surfing around the internet for and I found out that there are 20 new stations added to the PSP internet radio player. Well I think that’s all we have to expect for the latest firmware.

If you are using Dark Alex’s custom firmware, you better not upgrade yet or you’ll lose the homebrew features. But if you love sony and you are sticking to the official firmware, you better update now and get a taste of the new firmware. As for me, I’ll stick with my 3.90 M33-2 firmware.

Before I wrap this post, I’d like to tell you all guys that I have finished the new homepage design for Stylemo.com. I’m gonna be uploading some screenshots here if you guys request it. And I’m inviting everyone out there who wants to contribute. You can send your own PSP game review, screenshots, game saves, themes, anything about the PSP.  Thank you guys!

@darwin v: yea i have e cfm..i follow the instruction given by stvlemo. srry if i am still quite noob in these. The game i got is from my fren. It is an old game, in chinese version. Is it because of the different languages that cause the problem?

@stvlemo: the file name is in chinese too…if that the case, i can change the name to english. But i dun see that as a prob in my fren’s psp…do u have some guides that i can read out on? srry if it troubles u. thks :)

@Steve: darwin v.’s right. Check twice. Maybe you put the games on the wrong folder or maybe the filename’s too long if you know what I’m talking about. But I don’t wanna talkk about that in here.

@Steve: You sure you have cfw? What games can’t you play? Almost all known games should work on 3.90 m33-2.

Hi, I found out that some of the games cannot be played on my phat psp. i had updated to 3.90 m33-2. but my fren’s psp slim with version 3.71 can play the game. Is there any wrong with the version or is there any details i need to take note during upgrading of the psp version?
