USBHostsFS Problem with PSP TA-082 Mother Board
After downgrading my PSP a few months ago with the Noobz 2.80 downgrader, I thought I was gonna be able to do everything with my PSP. It turned out that the Noobs downgrader I used just modified my PSP’s ID Storage. Now I’m having problems with the USBhostsfs. What is USBHostsfs anyway? Well it’s a program that communicates with your PSP and this enables you to play backed-up ISOs and/or videos from your PC to your PSP via a USB cable.
I have a few backed-up ISOs on my PSP and each of them weigh more than 500 MB. Those are compressed already and I can only put 1 on my memory stick since I only have a 1 Gig capacity MS. I searched on the internet for homebrew applications that’ll help get rid of my problem and I found IRShell and USB Mod for the PSP. Well, I have Dark Alex’s Custom Firmware 3.03 OE-C and I know that these nifty cool applications run on my current firmware. I have installed USB Mod and followed the instructions correctly (as it may brick my PSP if I didn’t do so) and when I tried t connect to the PC by pressing down square(this activates the nifty app), a balloon pops up on the bottom right screen and says that it just found a new hardware, specifically a PSP Type B. I’ve tried installing the driver for the PSP Type B but it won’t work.
Pimpstreamer does work for my PSP but I don’t think it’s the same with the USB homebrew applications as it uses nethostsfs. I really hope some cool hacker out there will find a reliable fix already for this problem. There’s a fix actually but I’m not getting into it yet since I’ve read reports of a complete brick. I know I’m not the only one with this problem so I hope and pray that sooner or later a fix for this will come to life.

i am 17 and work at a store making 6.32 an hour im poor it toulk me 2 months to save up for a psp when i finaly boutght it the right button fell of it wasnt even 3weeks old so i toulk it back and got another one the same thing happend im pissed i cant aford this i payed my moneys worth now i want what i payed for.i have the recets to prove that im not lieng i have a school trip in 3weeks and i have no psp i dont apreciat the way you treat your cosmers.if it is not to much to ask for i would like a brand new strait from the compony psp with free games with the trouble that i have went through with this shit i hope you take this in to action and fix the damb thing.if any quistion call 1-218-770-2223
