How to Watch Movies and Listen to Music on Your PSP from Your Computer Wirelessly

The PSP recently only supports MP4 files for video. I have a lot of AVI files that I wanna watch on my
PSP but first I have to convert it to MP4. There are a lot of good converters out there and I recommend XVID4PSP. This nifty application can convert almost any video format. I also recommend VLC player which can play almost any video and audio format on your PC.
Converting videos into MP4 takes a lot of time. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ processor running on 600+ MB memory and converting 2 hours of movie to MP4 almost takes 2 hours too on my PC. That’s really slow. Once you’ve converted it to MP4 already, you have to connect your PSP to your PC via USB cable and you transfer the files. Too bad the PSP lacks storage space for all my media files. But thanks to Dickydick1969 he has comeup with a cool nifty application called Pimpstreamer.
What do we need to be able to use Pimpstreamer?

1. A PSP installed with 1.5 firmware or 3.03 Custom Firmware
2. A Wifi connection and wireless router
3. And of course Pimpstreamer installer

If you’ve just recently bought a PSP, chances are you have a 2.81 firmware. So how do we convert it into 1.5 or 3.03 Custom Firmware? A cool team of hackers recently has come up with a downgrader. Downgrading is risky so you must follow all instructions correctly.
