How To Install and Play Your PSP Game Demos
PSP game demos are now available for free download on the internet. When I first bought my PSP, there were no game demos. People at the gaming stores wouldn’t let you try out the game before buying it. Now, that’s risky. New PSP owners are really lucky right now because they really experience the game first before they decide to buy it. Before, PSP owners like me only rely on online game reviews but it’s really different if you experience the game and decide on it.
So how do we install and play the game demos? First, download this file here. This is the Syphon Filter downloadable game demo. This file is zipped so extract the contents first. Then connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable.

If your PSP MS drive is E, go to this directory, E:PSP/GAME and copy the extracted folder to this directory. Or of the GAME directory does not exist, you create it. In this case place the UCUS98641 folder in the GAME folder. In my experience, the game demo works even if I don’t follow the folder name provided. So you can rename the UCUS98641 to Syphon Filter if you want to.

For a list of game demos, here you go. You can click and download these game demos now. One thing though, some game demos run only on certain firmwares. I’m using a PSP with Dark Alex’s custom firmware 3.03 OE-C but don’t you worry, game demos work on Sony’s Official 3.03 firmware.

More downloadables are coming soon so don’t you worry if you can’t afford to buy a UMD. Game demos are here for the rescue.

I made my psp work it was something inside that was loose that needed to be soldered. it is a white think that connect to the battery. it is located under the screen on the top right hand corner. the problem is that now my analog stick is broken and I need a new one. I was thinking of game stop but i dont know if they will sell me parts. And I found one at ebay and i could either bid for one with a starting bid of $6 somethink or i could buy one from them for $19.00. I wanted to know if there were any cheaper ones. If anyone knows where to find one for cheap plz send me an email to fcortes100@yahoo.com
thank you.

I think you can get batteries for $10 to $30. It really depends on where you buy it. But to be sure, go buy original Sony batteries.

I Think Something is loose inside because i turned it on with the power button facing up and it worked but then turned off and then I tried it in different angles and it was working but then turned off. How much do you think a battery will cost? thanks for your help.

I don’t know what’s wrong with your PSP, I haven’t experienced that yet. Maybe you should consider buying a new battery.

I think i found a way to fix my problem…
just follow these simple steps:
! Make sure your psp is off.
2 Remove the battery pack.
3 Remove the battery.
4 Put your batter on the freezer for like 15 minutes.
5 Turn your freezer temperature level to 4 or if you want to you could try it higher.
6 Remove the battery.
7 Place your psp facing down.
8Place the battery from the right side first(bottom and the top) then insert the left.
8 Put the cap back on and turn it on.
It should work because it is working fine with me.
I found an web page and it said the battery might of been old or that the fan was not working. If it works plz email me at fcortes100@yahoo.com.
