I was bored and I opened Adobe Illustrator 9. I wish I had an Adobe Illustrator CS2. I present you some composition of random shapes and patterns. From the looks of this, you may try to say that this is a Joshua Davis rip-off. Well, not exactly. I was just inspired by him and I made this one from scratch. After downgrading my PSP to 1.5, I finally decided to upgrade it into Dark Alex’s 3.02 OE-B firmware. If you asked how I did it, i just followed the upgrade instructions from Attack of the Gamer.
So what’s new with the 3.02 OE-B firmware? This firmware can run ISO games and 1.5 homebrew applications. The PSP camera is also supported by this firmware as well as the 4 Gigabyte memory stick. What this firmware lacks is the Korean language support and the Location Free Player support. Well it’s ok for me since I don’t have a Location Free Player.
You can download homebrew apps at psp-homebrew.eu or you can go to QJ. ISOs aren’t available on these sites since they don’t support Piracy. You can find free PSP ISOs on torrent sites though.
I’m currently enjoying playing NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted on my PSP right now. Those two files weigh about 500 MB and that occupies already half of my memory stick. I’m looking for a 4 GB memory stick right now but I think it’s still not available here in the Philippines. By the way, I’m looking for a PSP gamer like me so I have someone to play with. I hope someone out there is interested in making me their PSP playmate.
I’ve successfully downgraded by 2.80 PSP with a TA-082 motherboard to 1.50. how did i do it? Well I just followed Noobz’ instructions. It only took me less than 5 minutes to do it! Boy was it fast but watching it seemed like days.
At first I was afraid to do it because I was afraid of bricking it but I prayed hard and voila! PSP 1.5. I’m really happy to have my Portable Playstation downgraded. What’s my next step? I’m gonna install Dark Alex’s 3.03 OEb and after that I’ll be able top play ISOs and EBOOTs without UMDs. There are also tons of good apps out there!

It’s time I should be talking about web designing again. What is web design exactly? Web Design is not just about the graphics. In fact the graphics part of a web site isn’t really that important. Websites were meant to provide information. That’s why they called it Information Technology. Of course it’s really cool to place colorful graphics on your website but does this really interest the visitor? In this present times where there are a lot of blogs, the tendency is the visitor will look for content to read and learn about.
Web Design is 95% typography. I came across this very good article and I totally agree with it. Read it if you must but I suggest you do.
What are the Web Designer’s role that apply today anyway? The major role of a Web Designer is to make the website look good for visitors. His role is not limited to designing only. A “real” Web Designer must also know how to code. He should not rely on Fireworks or Imageready’s auto table generator but he must know how to code his design into html. A Web Designer must learn new technologies and not be stuck with what he knows. One important thing the Web Designer should consider is the type of visitors who will come into his website. He must consider many things like usability and accessibility. There are a lot of laws coming out right now like Section 508 and the British Disability Discrimination act and so web designers should act accordingly.

Good news for 2.80 PSP owners out there! Noobz has just developed an easy 2.80 to 1.50 downgrader! I’m downloading the downgrader right now and I’m gonna try this one out. I hope this doesn’t brick my PSP though. I’m crossing my fingers now. Wish me luck guys. If I’m successful then I’ll be sharing you how I did it. After I’ve downgraded to 1.5 I will be able to use Dark Alex’s 3.03 OEB. That’s Cool!
