PSP 3.0 now ready for download

Sony has just released the latest firmware for the PSP. I’ve just downloaded it on my PSP but I haven’t tried to upgrade yet since I can’t find any support or “readme” text about it on the net. I just discovered this one when I tried to go Network Updates on my PSP menu. I don’t know what the new firmware version have for us but I won’t upgrade yet.

There are rumors though that you can download and play homebrew games with this new firmware. But here’s the catch: You must purchase a PS3 in order to download homebrew on your PSP. Now can you dig it?
