I love PSP game demos!
I thought I’m never gonna get to play the Loco Roco Halloween demo on my PSP firmware version 2.8!
I was surfing the other night for TIFF exploit applications for the PSP when I came across PSP Fanboy, a blog dedicated for the PSP. I went to their downloads page hoping to find some TIFF exploit programs but guess what I’ve found? I found a cool list of PSP game demos playable on a 2.80 firmware! Man was I so happy to find cool demos. So I downloaded the Loco Roco Halloween demo and tried it on my PSP. It worked like a charm! I didn’t play the whole game yet because PSP Fanboy’s got a lot of goodies so I downloaded them all. Aside from the Halloween demo of Loco Roco, I also downloaded other Loco Roco demo. yup, there are three downloadable Loco Roco game demos. Each setting are on a different stage and a different thrill. I didn’t Loco Rocos can turn into square. Yeah it’s puzzling all right. I haven’t collected all 20 Loco Rocos on the first game demo yet, I only have collected 17 so I’m trying to discover where to find the other 3 are.
Aside from Loco Roco, there are also cool and amazing games available for download on PSP Fanboy. Here’s the list and the description of each of the game demos which you can find on the site.

This one is available in japanese only but now you know the controls already so there’s no really problem with this one.

Blocks Club
This demo is in Japanese Version only so it’s kinda hard to understand the game. You have tetris blocks to start with and you start placing them on the board.

Exit 2
Now this is one cool and puzzling game. It’s in Japanese but it’s really to understand and play the game. The balloons that pop out from the character,s heads are in English though.
MotoGP
This game demo is from Namco which also has another game demo released. I tried to play this one and it’s kinda really hard to control the bikes. i’ll get the hang of it though.
Ridge Racer 2
This one is from Namco too. Originally it was available for 2.81 PSPs but you now it’s also available on the 2.80. Thanks to cornholion.

Bounty Hounds
Another game from Namco Bandai, this is one cool game too except for the camera controls.

Ape Escape Racer
Originally available for 2.81, now you can play it on 2.80. i remember playing Ape Escape on the PS One. It was a new experience then since you can use all the contrls on your analog for the game. This one is just racing.
Mercury Meltdown
I already had this one last month. this is a very cool and good game too. Try this one to find out how good you are on puzzles. plus the graphic’s good too.

Now that you’ve downloaded all the game demos, how do you install it? Well Just put each file on a separate folder and rename the folders to their respective names. Put the folders in PSP/Game/ on your memory stick and there you go, instant game!
I hope this helps other PSP owners there who has 2.80 firmwares.

I’ve checked out The Unknown’s link but some of the Game Demos that are missing here are not downloadable though. Anyway, great help!
